Hi Parents and Students,
Welcome to our classroom website! I would like to give you some information about myself. I grew up in Kentucky. I was a cheerleader throughout my school career. I love to motivate students to do their best in school and I love to create fun and exciting ways for them to learn in our classroom.
I attended Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, Kentucky. I received a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Wesleyan. Later, I attended William Paterson University for my Master's Degree. I received a Master's Degree in Special Education. Teaching is my passion and I love helping children grow as learners.
I have two sons. One son is a Sophomore at Morris Catholic High School and my other son is a 7th grader at Eisenhower Middle School. Both of my sons play basketball and baseball. I love to attend sporting events for my sons and for my students. Send me an e-mail with some upcoming dates of events for your son or daughter and I will try to attend their event. Students love to see their teacher at their events!
Let's Have a Great School Year,
Mrs. Henches
